Great health news regarding our Lilly, (Lynwater Evening Primrose)
She is FN Normal/Clear & prcd-PRA Clear !!! Lewis will be also tested around winter time and we are hoping for same great results.

Happy Birthday to our Venilil first litter !!!
Three years have past, but it seems like yesterday when we had them all around playing and beacause we really miss having puppies, here's a video from when they were very young, around 2 weeks old !!!

We had THE most amazing weekend of our lives (…so far) !!! On Saturday 19th, at the CAC Night Show (Greek Bred Dogs) Lewis (Venilil White Knight) got Excellent, 1st, CAC – PIPEE - BOS - BEST OF BREED and later on, in the finals for Group 8, RESERVE BEST OF GROUP !!! A huge "Thank you" to the judge, Mr.Zsolt Csaba Lokodi, from Romania, who thought so highly of our boy.

Next day, Sunday 20th, we really didn’t expect what was coming up, as it was a CACIB night show, with much higher competition, our expectations were fair less than the day before, but Lewis, really knows how to amaze us.
He was again, Exc 1st, CAC – CACIB - BOS - BEST OF BREED and later on BEST OF GROUP 8 !!! We could hardly believe it ! You don’t often see an ECS placed so high in the group finals here in Greece and the fact that he is our own breeding, makes everything even more…WOW :-)))
Lewis showed perfectly, just like he always does, in the BIS finals, but no placing this time. Nevertheless, we are extremely proud of our boy, who has given us plenty of memorable days, fulfilling every “little crazy” dream of ours. A great “Thank you” to the judge, Mr.Avi Marshak, from Israel, for such an unforgettable day and to all those who have congratulated us the past few days, we really need and appreciate every single comment. So, THANK YOU all very much !

Another lovely weekend for us at the 2x CACIB shows in Athens were we had only Lewis (Venilil White Knight) entered. On Saturday 08/05 judge was Mrs Monika Blaha from Austria. Lewis got an excellent critique which led him to win the R.CAC & R.CACIB* and on Sunday 09.05.2010 (also Crufts 2011 Qualification Show) judge was Mr Stelios Makaritis from Greece, who also liked Lewis a lot and awarded him with another R.CAC - R.CACIB**. We would like to congratulate our friends who did so well & got the Crufts 2011 Qualification !

What an amazing weekend we had in Thessaloniki for the 2x CAC Shows !!!

 

Saturday 10/4 Judge: Mr. Andrew Brace (England) Lewis (Venilil White Knight) was Exc & 1st in Open Class and then went on to win the R.CAC. Mr's Brace comments on the critique were very satisfying and complimentary and we are very pleased for this.

Sunday 11/4 Judge: Mr. Igor Selimovic (Croatia) Lewis (Venilil White Knight) was Exc & 1st in Open Class, CAC, Best of Breed and later on surprised us by winning RESERVE BEST OF GROUP 8 !!! We are still on cloud nine with these results since we haven't had any luck the last year till...this ! It surely comes when you least expect it. We are so proud of our little charmer and we would like to thank the judge who thought so highly of our boy !

28th Athens Canine Society - International CAC-CACIB Show, within Diana Outdoor 2010 exhibition.

 

First show for the year started pretty well with Lewis (Venilil White Knight) winning the Open Class and  then went on to win the RCAC-RCACIB, leaving behind some dogs in champion class. Marley (Venilil July Miracle) came 2nd in Open Class, both of them got really nice critiques, so we are pleased ! Judge for today was Mr. Oscar Valverde Calvo, from Costa Rica.

Just a quick note to let you know that Lilly is (yet again !) not pregnant. We apologise for the delay of the announcement as we had to check Lilly twice the past two weeks to make sure she isn't, since she is having a ''phantom-pregnancy'' !

 

Well...one thing is for sure, she definitely knows how to fool us !

Lilly (Lynwater Evening Primrose) has been artificially inseminated (by using chilled semen) to Bronzo (Multi.Ch. Leading-Light Phenomenan). We are keeping our fingers crossed for a successful mating this time as we have been so much looking forward to this. We would like to say a huge “Thank you” to Bronzo’s owner, Mrs. Vlasta Hartmannova for the excellent co-operation and support.

We spent a fantastic weekend in Uk, and the reason for this was the London Cocker Spaniel Society Championship Show 09.

207 entries for the breed specialists, Mr G.H.Waite (Nosana) for the dogs and Mrs J. Glennerster (Glenntree) for the bitches.

It was a great pleasure meeting old and new friends and we would like to congratulate all winners who did so well. See you next year !

We guess August didn't start so well for us, yet again !

Lilly had an ultrasound examination yesterday and unfortunately there were no puppies.

You can imagine how disappointed we are at the moment since we have been waiting for...4 years for this mating, well...it happens to everyone !

Now we have to be patient till Lilly is again on heat.It just seems too far away...

Lynwater Evening Primrose has been finally mated to Lynwater Flotsum !!!

If everything goes as planned, puppies are expected around 2nd-5th of September.

Lately, we have been extremely busy and we apologise for not keeping you updated with what is going on here in Greece.We haven't attended any shows this year but we have our first International Show in a few weeks that we are looking forward to...

However...spring has definitely settled here in Greece and the weather today was way too tempting for me, so I took the chance for some new photos of Lewis (Venilil White Knight) who just thouroughly enjoys being photographed !

           

                                             

                                             

And after a long time we would like to share with you these new pictures of our dear Oliver (Captive Audience Of Ware) who will be eight years old in May.Having gone through two operations, and a much needed hair-cut, we think he is slowly coming back to his normal cocker condition. Hopefully, he will make his comeback this summer as a Veteran.
